The G-3030C is basically designed to monitor the heart's electrical activity (ECG)
and Heart Rate. However, it can also be used to monitor AC sensors (vibration,
noise, microphones etc.) The signal input is coming from standard (2mm) electrodes,
which might be shielded for higher noise immunity. This signal is amplified and
filtered using a 4'th order filter or a combinatin of a filter and a R-Wave peak
detector circuit. The amplifier can be operated by batteries and it's output signal can be transferred to the data acquisition system via the AFL-500 Analog Fiber optic Link for complete isolation of the patient:
